After a fantastic opening season our campsite is now closed and we open again to campers on Monday 6th April 2015. Many of our campers want to return. If you have a large family group or want a favourite pitch then please book well in advance for 2015. (We are still open for group and school visits to our WW1 Trenches. Bookings only)
Set in 7.5 acres of tranquil woodland within a 10 minute drive of the beautiful North Norfolk Coast we currently offer 7 unique secluded pitches of various sizes a further 4 pitches are seeded for mid season. Please check your tent size when booking the smaller pitches.
Our licence allows us to open all year round but as yet the site is not yet well enough developed. We hope that 2015 will be the year that we can offer all weather camping to dedicated campers.
Our campers love the quiet single pitches for singles and couples and our larger pitches for families and groups.
We are a local authority licensed camp site with planning permission to build a campers amenity log cabin with lounge and erect Camping Pods, Yurts and Tepees. Our WW1 trench network will be developed in the future for laser tag, education and commemoration. Meanwhile we are open for campers who want to pitch their own tents in unique surroundings. We can take small campers vans like VW's but the site is not suitable for caravans.
Our campers are tired of manicured sterile campsites, each pitch the same, packed in like sardines. Is it time you joined them at Dreamy Hollow for some proper camping with clean basic facilities?
Small Campervan clubs, we are a great for an event.
Military historians and archaeologists, seen us on BBC News ?http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-26831030 come and explore our unique and original 3.5 acres of WW1 trench network. Free camping available for student archaeologists working under lecturer supervision.
Re-enactment groups talk to us about our whole site hire option. Discounts available for registered charities.
Ornithologists, discover a 'twitchers' paradise within easy reach of national heritage coastline, RSPB Titchwell.
Church groups we are an ideal spot for spiritual retreats within easy travelling distance of Walsingham.
Schools talk to us about our plans for the centenary with the CROWNS Trust www.crownstrust.org.uk_ and our Forest Schools availability.
Sorry due to height and turning limitations in the woods we cannot take caravans or large camper vans
